For this bike rig, I set up a script that set up the chain behavior for the 82 joints involved. Driven by a single rotating control, the chain joints are driven a remap node that determines their position on the chain's path based on the gear's rotation and their starting position. I'm working on a version of this script with a UI that makes it easier to use for any size chain rig.
